The Free 2024 Youth Concert Showcase Series

Are you ready for eight weeks of free jazz concerts by local up-and-coming young jazz bands?!

We’re thrilled to announce the talented musicians performing each Sunday afternoon from May 26 to July 14 at our new 2024 Youth Concert Series Showcase at the Fort Langley Historic CNR Station!!

May 26: Fort Langley Fine Arts School Junior & Senior Jazz Ensembles
June 2: Max Holmes Quintet
June 9: Gordy Li’s SMURF Quartet
June 16: Ben Wayne Kyle Trio
June 23: James Vickers
June 30: JO49 = Jazz Orchestra of the 49th Parallel
July 7: Ruthie Ha Quartet
July 14: Trading Fours

Join us in supporting these young musicians and bands, take in local art exhibits and take guided tours of the restored CNR train station, which dates back to 1915!

At our opening concert on May 26, the concert will begin at 12:30 pm with an Indigenous blessing and opening remarks before the music starts at 1pm. We will also announce the winners of the Rising Star Jazz Awards later in the performance!
