Langley Township residents promised priority for booking swimming lessons

Langley Township residents will get priority for swimming lessons in the future, Mayor Eric Woodward is promising.

“Council has now started the process to create priority registration access to swimming lessons for Township of Langley residents and families,” Woodward said in an online message posted on Thursday, March 28.

A new system should be in place by September, or early next year at the latest, Woodward said.

“Currently, about 25 percent of our community’s swimming lessons are filled by registrants that don’t live in the Township of Langley,” Woodward estimated.
