Kids spread some kindness in Aldergrove

April 17, 2024

Abi, 7, was one of 16 kids braving the cold and rain on Saturday, March 23, to spread some kindness in Aldergrove.

She took her station at the train in the Greater Vancouver Zoo, also where her father happens to work, and helped conduct the train tour.

“My favourite animal is Theo, a [resident] rhino,” Abi said, adding that it’s her dad’s favourite animal too.

Abi’s participation was part of the Aldergrove Business Association’s (ABA) Kids 4 Kindness event, where kids of all ages came out to greet locals and visitors at participating businesses, hold the door for people, hand out flowers, carry groceries, and many other types of small acts of kindness.
