The Big Social

Join us for our brand new fundraising event “The Big Social”. Our goal is to bring the Langley community together for a fun, relaxed and intimate evening and raise important funds to empower youth through mentorship.  100% of the proceeds from this event are used to fund and support the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley 1:1 and group mentorship programs throughout Langley.

We create mentoring relationships that change young people’s lives. With training and professional support, Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors form strong positive relationships with their mentees that express care, challenge growth, provide support, share power, and expand possibilities.

The mentoring programs that we offer provide youth with a role model to talk to and share the experiences of growing up with. Through regular outings, a relationship is developed, which is built on trust and common interests, and is supported by our experienced case-workers. The result is a life-changing experience for both the mentor and the mentee.
