Book Discussion Group: White Tears, Brown Scars

The Book Discussion Group aims to share titles by authors who are Black, Indigenous and people of colour.

Over the next four weeks, read White Tears, Brown Scars: How White Feminism Betrays Women of Color by Ruby Hamad, then meet with others online to share thoughts and impressions in a librarian-led discussion.

After you’ve registered, we’ll contact you to arrange book pickup at your preferred BPL location. There are also a limited number of e-book copies available.

The group will meet online using Zoom. To join the discussion, you’ll need a device with internet connection, audio and a microphone. A link to join the discussion will be emailed one day before the event.
