DESCRIPTION:Early Syrian Refugee Experiences of Integration in BC – Sustaining Welcome Report. \nFollowing the release of the ground-breaking report\, Sustaining Welcome: Longitudinal Research on Integration with Resettled Syrian Refugees\, you’re invited to take part in an upcoming webinar discussion with the authors of the report on November 15th\, 11.00am – 12.30pm (PST).In the first of its kind\, the report’s findings were based upon interviews with over 200 resettled Syrian refugees who arrived in British Columbia following Operation Syrian Refugees. The multi-year study\, from 2017-2020\, measured changes in the mental\, physical\, economic\, and social well-being of these refugees over time.
