DESCRIPTION:Engaging Women is a social circle for immigrant women to meet friends\, build a support network\, and learn new skills\, such as cooking delicious multicultural recipes. Join our safe space for women to share your stories and find resources available in the community. You will gain a better understanding of how to effectively communicate and integrate in the community as well as achieve their personal goals. \nSome of the topics include Self-Care\, Stress & Time Management\, Recipes Around the World\, and Canadian Workplace Culture. \nThroughout the year\, we have nursing practicum students who present on women’s health education in simple English on topics such as Screening for Breast Cancer\, Perimenopause & Menopause\, and Women’s Health & Nutrition.
