DESCRIPTION:The NewToBC Team is always looking for new Library Champions! Since 2013\, more than 150 people are trained each year as Library Champions across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. Beginning in Winter 2021\, the Library Champions project is expanding its online delivery to offer the program to immigrants in communities and regions across BC. \nThe Library Champions Project (LCP) is looking for newcomers who are: \n\nA permanent resident\, but not yet a Canadian citizen\n19 years of age or older\nEnthusiastic about libraries\nInterested in volunteering in the community to share information about library and settlement resources with other newcomers\n\nTo become a Library Champion you must attend an information session.
